03-Holidays

Image
03-Holidays  Halloween in a way starts the holiday season, with the big halloween party with costumes and then the Great Feast to get the family together. Big turkey and ham along with everything else, and then the deserts start flooding in, pies, cakes, candies. Then huddle and watch the football game. Soon thats over its shopping for presents. And so its Christmas in July and the first big snow came in the night of. I have this set on the second day of winter and it gives one some things to do. One is more decorating. With snow things look different.  But first I have to take advantage of foosball time with the family. Having Stephan and Anita going against Morgan and Justin. Looks to be a good game.  This is upstairs in the 'attic' and is where Stephan's studio is, but off the studio is a big room that is part of the party area that consists of the majority of the space in the attic.  Morgans yoga pad is up here, and with it mirrors. A DJ bo...

02-Fall

Image
02-Fall Having some fun with seasons I must admit, even though I'm seeing some tasking glitches where the sim is behaving erratically by jumping from spot to spot when doing something. But the holidays is going to be interesting for a while, if I can keep these silly events from popping up. I set up Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, Easter and Independence day as my main holidays, with the majority being in the at the end of autumn and the first week of winter.   But I have a couple of days left of summer and I wanted to see how the wadding pool works out with little Anita. Totally missed it with Justin, and Anita is about to age up, so off we go to the wadding pool, yea!  The backyard is progressing nicely, need to watch that sprinkler being on all the time, which I believe raises the water bill, it has to be Justin. The wind chimes I got from the backyard stuff pack is one item I put in all backyards.  The swing works, tho...

01-Its Snowing

Image
01-Its Snowing Snow?. Well not at this time in Cedar Creek, for it's sizzling hot outside.  I took the advantage of the Seasons add on expansion to start anew with the communities and Sims and created a new CAS sim, named Stephan Harding, with creative, outgoing, music lover, and gregarious traits, which are basically my favorite traits.  Torn down all the houses that didn't have sims and merged some others. Initially put Stephan down in Oasis Springs, but realize that I would probably miss out totally on the snow, so moved him and Summer Holiday into a lot across the street from the Goths. But that isn't what he will call home.  This is his new home. I'm going tutor, and no CC. Even though it looks like three stories it really just a single story house, toddlers taught me that. There is no reason to put a toddler in pain while it tackles stair ways. There are plenty of other nuances with the toddler as it is and with Seasons there is even more.  But Stephan'...

11-The Scotts.

Image
This is a continuation of 'My Sims Town'.  With Seasons, much has changed, and therefore I started a new game and with it a new town.  We meet the Scott house here in chapter 11.   11-The Scotts   Its spring time and it was time to move over to Peter Scott's house and tend the plants.  Gardening has changed in Seasons, with the plants dormant during the winter. So I want to see what all has change in regards with gardening and Peter Scott is my gardener.  Peter Scott we have met in previous chapters while living at the apartment with his sister Genevieve.  The two have split, with Genevieve moving to Brindleton with Angelo Trivedi, and Scott here in Windenburg. Scott and Vanessa are out back getting some plants planted. Vanessa Bjergsen, little does she knows it, will be looking into the flower arrangement skill and therefore makes a good excuse to being Scott's gardening companion.   She will be tending the flowering plants. ...
