17-Pops

17-Pops As I sat outside in my lawn chair on the front porch of the Harding house watching as the Sims walk by, I noticed quite a few new children walking the streets and I wonder where are they coming from? In San Myshuno, there are six families that seem to linger around and prosper under the guidance of MCCC.  I feel for them, since they are stuck in the living arrangements that they started in, that two bedroom one bath, doesn't quite suite well for that family of six. Also I had Saya the Gym Trainer have an apartment there and within two days she gave birth to a baby sim.  Also have two houses in Windenburg that are producing Sims that are not under my direct control.  Saya Suzuki, who I kinda play just to keep her straight, has a young daughter that is around the same age as Krysta Rasoya, so Krysta has a few playmates to hang around with. Justin decided the pool needed some cleaning one early morning. He is actually cleaning that burn mark just behind him, b...

16-Baby Time My Sims age, slowly but surely they will die, therefore to keep the town alive, there has to be some births. Aging is the tricky part, where I would like to have a scattering of elders still hanging around when their grand children come into being. Unfortunately, I didn't fair too well this time around with only Elsa left from the original batch of Sims, for she had her children, Will and Susan, early in her young adult Sim time. So maybe that's the clue. Here's how I set up aging. Baby: 3 days Toddler: 10 days Child: 43 days Teen: 56 days Young Adult: 112 days Adult: 112 days Elder: 28 days Game time span is normal which makes the MCCC settings absolute. note that 3+10+43+56 = 112 days which is the lifespan of a young adult.  Now with seasons, I get a simulated year, spring, summer, fall, winter, with each season lasting two sim weeks. 14 x 4 = 56 days, which gives the teen a full cycle of seasons.   But of course that goes out the window whe...
